This is a Portuguese activity, for fifth grade students, which aims to show the function and structure of the instructional textual genre: the recipe. This activity also brings a small interpretation of the text that can be ended by a collective text production.

Recipe is an instructional text (explains how to do something). A recipe has two clear parts INGREDIENTS and METHOD OF PREPARATION, recipes always have a similar structure:
