NAME:

Read this poem, written by Roseana Murray:

The word is silver and silence is golden

silence is a box
huge where they fit
and resonate
all words
and they have to be fished carefully.
there are the round ones
and soft,
firefly words,
that lighten the mouth
of love and sweetness,
and others with thorns,
this is better to leave
at the bottom of the world box.

inside the silence
the illuminated words
swim
like goldfish.
