– My name is Asdrubal and I am a donkey. Right after I was born, Mom helped me to my feet, on all fours. Mom always recommended drinking lots of milk to get strong and going out for a walk in the fields of the farm, where we live. My father is a very strong donkey, who takes products from the farm to the city and then comes back with lots of news. Children like to bathe me with a brush and soap. Sometimes I slip and fall to the ground and they laugh and have fun. I once went for a walk on the lake with Mom and Dad and we had a lot of fun, splashing each other with water. I like to play in the water! I am very quiet. Sometimes Rex wants to play with me, but I don't know how to play with a dog! He jumps around me, pulls my tail, shows me how to run to catch up, but I prefer to watch. Rex then gives up and goes looking for other companions. When they run past me, they almost knock me over. Sometimes I see Omo the duck likes to fight with the swan. They spread their wings and threaten each other with their long necks. At night I sleep with my mother in the stable. We rest to start a new day the next day.
