Classroom Plan on Environment - Early Childhood Education

Environment lesson plan

Main goal:

  • To preserve the environment.

Specific objectives:

  • Understand what the environment is.
  • Recognize appropriate and inappropriate attitudes towards the environment.

Development:

  • 1st moment: In a playful way, we will talk to the children about the topic of the class, thus making the preliminary survey. We will then have a small moment of exploration in the environment that surrounds the school. During this time, dialogue with the children.
  • 2nd moment: ending the exploration we will return to the room. We will start this moment with a conversation to see what the children were able to perceive about the exploration of the environment, the interaction with the In reality, one can hear the understanding of the importance of preserving the environment, thus identifying what can be done to have a world best.
  • 3rd moment: the children will carry out the proposed activities: painting, drawing, collage. Before starting the class, the students go to the bathroom, go back to the room and say a prayer and the teacher makes the call. The class begins with a catharsis, exposing the content of the class, at 14 hours and 45 minutes the children leave for have a snack and return at 15 hours and 05 minutes, 16 hours and 30 minutes students already start to return to their houses.

  • It will be done during the development of the proposed activities individually and class participation.

Realized that the school is an institution of knowledge construction and a supporter in the process of awareness, this project presents proposals for classes to be developed at Escola Olavo Bilac with the theme Environment. Emphasizing that the balance of nature is essential for life on earth and the school has to be engaged in finding solutions for its preservation.

Subjects worked

  • Portuguese language;
  • Math;
  • Sciences;
  • Geography;
  • Art.

MAIN GOAL:

  • Make children aware of the importance of the environment and how man interferes in this environment, involving the entire community school and the surroundings where we live to think about solutions to current problems and the construction of a future desired by all.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

  • Show how human beings participate in the transformation of the environment in which they live, also showing their negative interferences and what they have caused to nature;
  • Awaken respect for the Environment, showing the importance of its preservation, as well as the need to reuse garbage through recycling;
  • Understand that recycling brings countless benefits to society, reducing the volume of waste sent to landfills and helping to keep the city clean, in addition to promoting economy of raw material;
  • Take the student to recycle scraps found in the environment in which they live in workshops;

JUSTIFICATION

Educating is on a new level, whose core is the development and integral fulfillment of the person and the citizen. This is what supports the education proposal of the Olavo Bilac Municipal School, whose mission is to “promote excellence in education, producing and disseminating the knowledge, committed to the integral formation of the ethical citizen, in search of sustainable regional development and a more just and humane society.” With this proposal, we understand that it is very important to work on the Environment, seeking knowledge and awareness of the children who will be our future citizens. Because when a child learns and understands the importance of preserving and caring for the environment in which they live, they will certainly be a responsible citizen and committed to the society of which it is a part, being able to establish relationships, interact, transform and re-elaborate in this environment and in others realities.

METHODOLOGY:

1st class

  • Slide presentation of the importance of nature's resources, water, air, soil and sunlight;
  • Direct a survey that shows the importance of nature's main resources;
  • Presentation of a song on the theme (Planeta Água – Guilherme Arantes) on Youtube right after creating a discussion and asking him to make a drawing that characterizes the song.

2nd class

  • Show how man's interference in nature happens;
  • Analyze the negative interference of man in the environment in which he lives;
  • Start a debate on the different ways to preserve the environment;
  • Searches on websites for games and games on the internet on the subject;
  • Typing information that students consider important about the topic, searched on Google.

3rd class

  • Discuss the different types of destruction, aggression and degradation of the environment and how to avoid this (listing their names for the students and asking them to do a search for texts and images);
  • Ask them to research the degradation time of the bottle, tire, can and bag.
  • Motivate the child's creativity by showing works made with recycled materials (search the internet for examples and choose one to be done);
  • Production of a text about the environment made at broffice writer;
  • Create slides about what we've learned about the topic (environmental degradation and protection and recycling)

ASSESSMENT:

  • The evaluation will take place throughout the development of the project through the observation of performance and interest of students in the development of the proposed tasks, productions and report on the activities.

CULMINANCE:

  • One of the culminating moments of the project will be during the cultural week.

The planet needs our daily collaboration. The date wants to raise awareness of respect and the importance of preserving natural resources, which until then were considered by many to be inexhaustible.

The purpose of this Environment Lesson Plan is to Expand vocabulary, Listen to different music, Valuing the environment, nature/trees

Plan Development:

1st Moment: Listening to songs about nature/trees, singing and making gestures.

2nd moment: Walk in the school yard encouraging children to observe the trees, birds and other animals in nature.

3rd moment:Making art/collage!

This class plan on the environment with the objective of making students aware of the importance of the environment and how man interferes in this environment; Appreciate and respect nature.

Development:

1st Talk about the importance of preserving the Environment and the origin of the date. Ask students to name examples of ways to preserve them and write them on the board. After the conversation, put a song/video about the environment (suggestion):

2nd After the video, separate students into groups asking them to create an awareness sentence and illustrate it, creating posters to be displayed during awareness week.

Objective:

  • Make children aware of the importance of the environment;
  • Encourage people to understand the importance of man in transforming the environment in which he lives and what negative interferences have caused to nature;
  • Develop and stimulate creativity in children.

Plan development:

  • Talk about the action of man in nature and the damage caused to the environment.
  • Talk to students about what we can do to change this reality.
  • Encourage students to talk about environmental problems in our region.
  • Propose students to look for images of the environment before and after man's action.
  • Expose the images.
  • Guide students in making posters asking for the preservation of the environment.

Assessment

  • Observation of how the student developed the activities, the ability to understand the topic dealt with, orality and creativity.
