Early Childhood Education Project
Easter is a very important religious date for us Christians, however, its symbols are filled with meanings that delight and contribute to the formation of even those who do not declare no faith. This date deserves special attention in the school calendar, with this, I develop the Easter Education Children's Project aiming to rescue values that are lost over time due to commercial appeals, because Easter is more than a simple exchange of chocolates and affection is what counts more.
Main goal: Conveying the true meaning of Easter, propagating values, good deeds and good manners, promoting reflections on friendship between people and why to share.

Working values:
The rabbit came out of the hole – the children will form a hole, two by two with their hands up, and inside each hole there would be another child who was the rabbit. A few rabbits or more, depending on the number of children, are left untouched. The teacher says: “Bunny come out of the hole!”, the children who are rabbits immediately change their hole and the rabbit that was outside tries to go inside the hole. The rabbit that is left untouched, tries to enter the next time.

For young children in this age group, the joy of Easter is presented by parents, family members and mainly by the media, being synonymous with chocolates and more chocolates, bunnies and lots of party. The media uses this date to encourage the consumption of sweets and especially chocolate, which is also one of the symbols of Easter. Parents and relatives, on the other hand, most of the time, provide this space, valuing the exchange of chocolate eggs, surprise toys and some of the symbols of Easter.
Like this one, it is a commemorative date that appears in our national calendar, and one of the occasions when commerce and media use this date for the sale of products, it is essential to work Easter with the kids. Therefore, this project arises as a way to assist children in this period that they begin their process of acquiring knowledge and interaction with the world around them.
By proposing to work on Easter, numerous activities and knowledge arise, however, our goal with this project is to emphasize a healthy Easter. Due to the marketing and dissemination of products in the media, as mentioned above, during this period of commemoration, the idea of developing a project that emphasizes Easter in a healthy context for kids.
Thus, it is necessary to know a little about what this commemorative date is – Easter – what the symbols are and their importance. When referring to symbols, it is necessary to observe nutrition and care for the body. In view of this, we intend to explore chocolate with children, pointing out health benefits and harms, as well as other foods that involve the rabbit, the main character of Easter by the media, encouraging eating and hygiene habits for a better life.
Thus, it is important to provide the child with activities that involve the discovery and exploration of new knowledge and learning of in a significant way, thus experiencing situations that will contribute to the construction of knowledge of oneself, the other and the world.
