HEALTHY HABITS

LET'S LET THE BODY TAKE THAT NAP, RESTING A LITTLE OF THAT HARD LIFE, AND TALK A LITTLE ABOUT SLEEP. WHATEVER YOUR GENDER _ SLEEPER OR ALWAYS ON _ THE MESSAGE IS THE SAME. IT'S NOT ENOUGH TO HAVE A HEALTHY FOOD AND DO PHYSICAL EXERCISE: SLEEPING IS ALSO FUNDAMENTAL FOR THE HEALTH OF THE BODY AND THE MIND. LACK OF SLEEP _ OR BADLY SLEPT SLEEP _ DOES SO MUCH DAMAGE THAT THE LIST SEEMS NO END: NO SLEEPING OR BADLY SLEEPING IT CAUSES IRRITATION, tiringness, bad mood, lack of concentration and memory, in addition to changing the metabolism, harming DIGESTION.

SLEEPING PROBLEMS CAN EVEN INTERFERE WITH SCHOOL PERFORMANCE. SLEEP IS SO IMPORTANT THAT SCIENTISTS ARE RUNNING TESTS TO STUDY ITS MECHANISMS AND EFFECTS ALL THE TIME. AND SOMETIMES A SURVEY CARRIED OUT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD CAN TOTALLY CHANGE YOUR ROUTINE. THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED AT A SCHOOL IN THE CITY OF SÃO PAULO, WHICH DECIDED TO TRANSFER THE 5th GRADE CLASSES TO THE AFTERNOON SHIFT. ALL BECAUSE AN AMERICAN SCIENTIST DISCOVERED THAT TEENAGERS NEED TO SLEEP MORE THAN KIDS _ ON AVERAGE, 9 HOURS AND 15 MINUTES. IF THEY WAKE UP TOO EARLY TO GO TO SCHOOL, WITHOUT HAVING ENOUGH SLEEPING, THEY END UP LOSSING THE SLEEP PHASE WHICH GUARANTEES GOOD MEMORY AND LEARNING. AND HERE COMES LOW GRADE! IF IT CONTINUES LIKE THIS, THIS AMERICAN SCIENTIST WILL BECOME THE FAIRY GODMOTHER OF LAZY TEENAGERS…

WE CAN IMAGINE THE BRAIN AS A COMPUTER, WHICH AT THE END OF THE DAY STARTS TO BE SLOW WITH SO MUCH INFORMATION IN THE MEMORY. SLEEP COMES TO MAKE A GENERAL CLEANING, "CLEANING" SOME UNNECESSARY FILES AND OPENING SPACE FOR NEW INFORMATION. IT IS DURING THE EARLY SLEEP PHASE THAT THE BRAIN ORGANIZES THE RECENT MEMORY OF THE DAY AND RESETS THE LEVEL OF THE CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES. TRANSLATING: OH, THAT PEACEFULNESS...
