Multiplication or multiply tables (times) to print

One of the subjects that we certainly carry throughout our lives is the Multiplication tables or multiply (times). The benefits of studying and learning multiplication are enormous.

THE multiplication table speeds up student's reasoning, which learns the right answers without wasting time trying to formulate more open accounts.

Among the many benefits that multiplication tables provide us, we list some below:

  • An improvement in reasoning is remarkable;
  • It greatly increases concentration;
  • It is very important when dealing with financial issues and with a future professional career;
  • De makes it possible to learn more easily other accounts (DIVISION) for example.

Learning Multiplication Tables Using Your Fingers

We can use the fingers of our hands as an instrument of CALCULATION. Check out the following step by step:

  • The numbers 6 to 10 are associated with the fingers of each hand, starting with the little finger.
  • To multiply 7 by 8, touch the fingers associated with 7 and 8:

Note that the 7's complement is represented by the upper three fingers (located above the touching fingers) on one hand and the 8's complement by the upper fingers on the other hand.

The lower five fingers represent the 5, that is, 5 tens. To 50, the product of the upper fingers, 2×3, or 6, is added, giving a total of 56.

  • The fingers and times tables of 9.

The numbers 1 to 10 are associated with the fingers of each hand starting with the thumb.

For example, 9×4 corresponds to lowering the 4th finger. There are 3 fingers raised before the finger that is lowered, and 6 after.

Which means 36, which is the intended result, as shown in the following figure.

  1. Accept the 3 basic rules.
