O World Greeting Day or greetings day (in Brazil) is celebrated annually in November, on the day November 21st. This date is also celebrated in at least 180 countries around the world.
Summarizing the greeting day is another date to celebrate the world peace and, unlike what many people think, this date is not considered a National holiday.

O World Greeting Day (world hello day, in English) was created in 1973, by Brian McCormack and Michael McCormack, (and had its antecedents in 1967, with the Six-Day War) as a response to the conflict between Egypt and Israel.
On this day, everyone who would like to participate is encouraged to greet at least 10 people. In addition, many people use this day to send messages to world leaders, encouraging them to use peaceful measures to resolve conflicts.
