2 lessons with different moments of 30 minutes each
Christmas symbols: balls, Christmas tree, Santa Claus, Nativity scene, candle, wreath, etc.
Activity 1- Find out what the symbols of Christmas are.
1st moment: The teacher surveys with the children what we see at Christmas or what we find at this party. Make a list of Christmas symbols and start looking through magazines, the internet and other resources.
Each symbol found is placed in the Christmas box and the teacher, in each class, asks the children to remove a symbol from the box and the teacher tells the story of it.
2nd moment: The teacher proposes activities related to symbols and the children make some. (boot, balls, wreath, star, candles, etc.) Then use the constructed symbols to decorate the classroom.
