NAME:

the new perch

The sparrows were dangling from the telephone wires that ran from house to house to the barn. Next to each other, the birds chirped and commented on what was happening on the farm, but that morning, no roosting!

– They buried the wires! - Arno explained.

- But then we can no longer meet? – Misi little sparrow got sad.

The curious Loreta had an idea:

– The clothesline!

When the owner of the site arrived with the basket of clothes, she saw the sparrows lined up on the wire.

- Hmm! Maybe you can serve as preachers! – she said, laughing.

– She's absolutely right! – Arno told his friends – Let's help!

Each bird was on a sock, underwear, a t-shirt to hang them on the clothesline!

The owner of the site applauded. The sparrows, very proud to be part of the life of the farm, sang out loud!
