You may have heard that human beings are not able to use 100% of their brain capacity. But this is a myth. The story arose in the early 20th century, when scientists still understood little about brain functions. Today, they know that we use the full potential of this organ: the most current studies reveal that, over a day, we put 100% of the brain's capacities into action - and there is no evidence that there are inactive areas in this organ. Besides, we wouldn't have a brain that big, and that consumes so much energy, if we only used a small part of that potential.
