NAME:
The story is told of a farmer who, for several years, had the best corn plantation in the region.
At the time of the award presentation, a journalist present there asked him what his secret was.
— I always share my corn seed with my neighbors.
To everyone's air of admiration he replied.
— The wind carries the pollen of ripe corn from field to field. If my neighbors grow inferior corn, pollination will degrade the quality of my corn. So, in order for me to have good corn, I have to help my neighbors to grow good corn too.
The same goes for other dimensions of life.
If you want to be happy, you have to help others find happiness.
The well-being of each one is linked to the well-being of everyone.
