Read this text about the book “The Great Illusion”, written by Harlan Coben:
Maya Stern is a former special operations pilot who recently returned from the war. One day, she sees an unthinkable image captured by the hidden camera in her home: her 2-year-old daughter playing with Joe, her late husband, brutally murdered two weeks earlier.
Trying to keep her sanity, Maya starts to investigate, but all the findings only raise more questions.
As the days go by, she realizes that she no longer knows who to trust, until she finds herself facing the most important question: is it possible to believe in everything we see with our own eyes, even when it's something we want desperately?
