Cards Daily Routines: Created in partnership with the websiteONLY SCHOOLOOWL ABC is a portal dedicated to education.
Our mission is to contribute to the Brazilian cultural and social progress, through the educational process, thus providing a quality education that is easily accessible.
THE Daily routine is an excellent visual support to facilitate the daily life of children with or without special needs, where they can adapt and learn:
1.Understand the notion of the passage of time: it can start with the end of one activity and the beginning of the next.
2. Understand the notion of sequencing: the child learns that their daily lives are organized, that there is a logic, a pattern inherent to the activities they carry out.
3. Better understand and accept any changes in routine: the child visually perceives that even with a momentary change, the main logic/pattern of the routine has not changed.
4.Accept better arrangements or that it is not time for some activity of interest: the child can accept it better when the mother says and shows that at that moment it is not time for swimming but for another activity. It is also possible, given the impossibility of doing what the child wants immediately, to propose another activity of interest that can replace the desired one.
5.Communicate the desire to carry out an activity of interest or not to carry out any scheduled activity: the child has the right to ask for or refuse some activity. What's more, she has the right to communicate this as clearly, directly, understandably and with as little frustration as possible. Routine can make this easier.
6.Predict events and situations experienced in everyday life: the child can, literally (through the images organized in sequence), see this predictability and, therefore, feel more secure.
