One of the great classics of children's literature of all times, already adapted for film and television and published in numerous countries, the little lord, by Frances Hodgson Burnett (1849-1924) is presented here in the inspired translation by Tatiana Belinky, one of our country's most beloved literary personalities. The story of the charming Cedric Errol, a seven-year-old boy who lived a simple life in New York when he discovers he is the heir of a very wealthy earl English, is accompanied here by the two series of original illustrations by Reginald Birch, made for the first editions of the work, released in 1886 and 1911.
