So far, no other place in the universe, apart from the Earth, is known that meets the conditions for the existence of life. Human activities on our planet, however, have increasingly reduced these conditions.
The constant growth of the population and the consequent increase in consumption have been causing the progressive destruction of available resources and rapidly changing the environment.
Most living beings only use what they really need to survive. Man does not, because with his instruments and machines he is able to infinitely multiply the work that would be done by a single individual. Thus, it intensively and quickly appropriates resources and breaks the fragile and extremely complex balance of nature. In this way, it harms other living beings, often causing their total destruction.
The number of inhabitants of the planet, however, is growing non-stop, and many productive areas of the Earth have been, and continue to be, occupied without planning and inadequately exploited. If we continue to act like this, depleting nature's resources, in a short time there will only be environments on Earth that are unsuitable for life and with no possibility of recovery.
But a species like ours, capable of magnificent achievements in the arts, sciences and philosophy, he must know how to organize himself and find adequate solutions to guarantee his permanence in the Earth.
