NAME:
Tagobar was a very small mouse.
That's why he himself still lived with his mother. And he had never left her den.
But he grew up and got tired of being there. He came to his mother and told her:
- Mommy! I want to go out and see the world!
- My son. He knew this would happen any day. I must not stop him. Can go. But I must give you some advice.
The house where we live is very big. And our lair is in the parlor. When you go out you will find lots of new things, furniture, rugs, tables, chairs and a huge television set. You can go around the room and play at will.
But be careful when you find the cue ball. It's called a ball of yarn. It is the owner of the house who usually knits. But close to him there is usually a very ferocious and dangerous animal called a cat. It's our biggest enemy.
When you see him, dodge and pass well away from him.
The other room you'll enter next is the kitchen. I know you'll love it because there's plenty of food. Play and eat as you please, but be careful with the white cake. It's called cheese and it's one of the tastiest things out there.
But generally, close to him is usually a terrible and extremely deadly weapon. It's the mousetrap. Stay away from her as she can kill.
Tagobar listened to everything correctly and very carefully. Then he grabbed his backpack, said goodbye to his mother and went out to see the world.
He was dazzled by the room. He found some great furniture that he never imagined could exist. He played at will with everything he found, rolled and had a great time.
Suddenly he saw the white ball. The ball of yarn recognized!
Right beside him an ugly furry animal that slept.
This is the cat my mother told me about.
She decided to get out of there right away, passing well away from this dangerous animal. And he entered another brightly lit room.
Must be the kitchen, he thought.
He liked her very much. He went into several cupboards and found plenty of food. He had a lot of fun, gnawed and tried a little bit of everything. He ate way too much.
That's when he saw the white cake. It's the cheese, you know! And he saw, right beside it, a mounted machine that could kill.
He looked at her from afar and decided to leave.
It was then that he saw a door leading to a dark corridor. Funny, he thought. My mother didn't mention him. He approached that entrance carefully. He looked well, saw no danger and decided to enter.
It was a small hallway. The only thing she had was a long wooden ladder. And at the top of it another door, small, also made of wood.
He decided to go upstairs and investigate.
Tagobar didn't know it, but it was the attic of the house where all the discarded trinkets were kept. A jumble of all sorts of things, very old, all with heavy dust covering them.
Tagobar felt at home, as he was the one he liked best to play with.
And he had a great time messing with everything, having fun and rolling around at will.
However, he didn't know, but he wasn't alone. In this place lived a small bat.
Who was startled by all the movement and confusion that Tagobar was making. And he started flying in circles looking for a place to hide.
Tagobar had never seen or heard of this animal, but he was also scared.
He ran out the door. He hurried down the stairs, past the kitchen, and didn't care for the white cake or the armed mousetrap. He walked into the room and cut across the path, not bothering with the white ball, almost passing over the still sleeping cat.
And he came into the house calling for his mother.
- Mom! Mom! Mom!
– Yes Tagobar! Why are you scared? What happened?
- Mommy! You won't believe it!
– But I saw an angel!
