One of the novelties is the children's series "Luz", produced by Floresta under order of Netflix. The plot revolves around the journey of a girl named Luz, played by Marianna Santos, who goes in search of her true origins. The cast features talents such as Daniel Rocha, Gabriela Moreyra and Mel Lisboa, among others.
In addition to dramaturgy, Netflix is investing heavily in live programming, with broadcasts of shows and different sporting events. This unusual approach promises to challenge the open TV and intensify competition among entertainment sources.
The expectation with this is that the investment in live programs will grow a lot on the platform, since the brand's executives noticed the public's interest in this type of content.
This has already started to happen in some countries and has generated satisfactory results, so it was only a matter of time before this trend was brought to Brazil.
While Netflix and other streaming platforms are exploring new possibilities, open TV channels are also in constant motion to captivate their viewers.
Rede Record and AXN, for example, are working on the series “Estranho Amor”, which addresses violence against women, and will feature Cristiano Garcia, known for his role as Sisa in “Kings”.
In the scenario of SBT, the morning schedule returns to normal after the period ofschool holidays. “Primeiro Impacto” resumes its schedule from 6 am to 11:40 am, with presenters Marcão do Povo, Felipe Malta and Darlisson Dutra taking turns during the program.
When talking about soap opera productions, author Walcyr Carrasco shows his ability to adapt stories according to the plot's needs. In the telenovela “Terra e Paixão”, Gloria Pires and Tony Ramos shine with their performances, and the plot is modified to involve even more the characters played by them.
