NAME:
Once upon a time, in a toy store, a doll was born one-eyed. It was displayed on the highest shelf, no girl wanted it. I lived sad. I watched the other dolls being chosen and taken home in pretty ornate packages.
One day, a blond-haired doll said:
– Do you know why no one wants you? Because of your eyes. They are too ugly. Look at mine - said the convinced - they are blue, perfect, gorgeous to die for. I will soon be taken by a girl.
The poor little girl cried. I so wanted to be chosen, taken by someone to make a girl happy. But it didn't come off the shelf.
