The duration of the activities proposed by the color project are approximately 3 days.
Previous knowledge worked by the teacher with the student. It is suggested that the children already know the colors. For this, the following class can be applied before this one:
1. To introduce the theme about the rainbow, it is interesting to start from the children's previous knowledge, as well as to sharpen their hypotheses regarding the subject. In this way, start the class with a story that brings some of the elements that will be worked on in this class and that provides greater support for later discussions.
For this, the following book is suggested:
* Try to read the story in an interactive way, so that children can visualize the images.
2. After reading, in a conversation circle, question the children about the main events, in order to awaken their interest in the rainbow. For this, the following questions are suggested:
3. After the discussion, ask the children about the different colors we can find. In this way, organize a walk with the children around the school. Divide the children into groups of 3 students, give each trio a sheet of A4 paper, a clipboard and a box of crayons. After this, guide the trios to observe everything in the school and its different colors and keep recording on paper.
4. Back in the classroom, in a new conversation circle, ask each trio to demonstrate the different objects and their colors they found at school. So, guide them, now individually, to design the school and paint it with the different colors they found.
5. From the drawings presented, sharpen the children's creativity, arranged individually, ask them to do a school drawing, and then choose a color (preferably the one you like the most), and paint the entire drawing with the same color.
6. Arrange the children in a circle and ask each one to show their picture about the colored school and the single colored school. So, go and discuss with the students the different colors and how the world looks better with them. For this, you can ask the following questions:
7. From the discussions with the children, present the following song: Aquarela – Toquinho
On any sheet
I draw a yellow sun
And with five or six straights
It's easy to make a castle
I run the pencil around the hand
and give me a glove
And if I make it rain, with two risks
I have an umbrella
If a speck of paint
Falls on a little blue piece of paper
In an instant I imagine
A beautiful seagull flying in the sky
go flying around
the immense north-south curve
I go with her traveling
Hawaii, Beijing or Istanbul
I paint a sailboat
white sailing
It's so much sky and sea
in a blue kiss
Among the clouds is coming up
A beautiful pink and maroon plane
all around coloring
with your lights flashing
Just imagine and he's leaving
serene and beautiful
And if we want
it will land
On any sheet
I design a departing ship
with some good friends
drinking well with life
from one america to another
I can pass in a second
I turn a single bar
And in a circle I make the world
a boy walks
And walking reaches the wall
And right there in front of the wait
For us the future is
And the future is a spaceship
that we try to pilot
no time or pity
There is no time to arrive
without asking permission
change our life
And then invites
laughing or crying
This road does not fit us
Know or see what will come
Nobody knows the end of her
Well sure where it goes
let's all go
on a beautiful catwalk
From a watercolor that one day at last
will discolor
On any sheet
I draw a yellow sun
that will discolor
And with five or six straights
It's easy to make a castle
that will discolor
I turn a single bar
And in a circle I make the world
that will discolor
8. Based on this music and video presentation, guide the children to make a board with some of the images presented in the music, so that they recognize the different colors. For this, you can make a craft paper frame, which can be done as follows:
1. Continuing the discussion of the previous activity, based on the children's discovery of the different colors we find that make our world more beautiful. Introduce the rainbow theme more directly. For this, the following experiment can be performed:
2. After the observation, in a conversation circle, which can be done outdoors, ask the children about what they observed:
3. With the hypotheses raised, back to the classroom, give a sheet to each child and guide them to illustrate their ideas about the origin of the rainbow.
4. From the records made by the children, show them the following video:
Which can also be found in the book:
* To make the story more dynamic, try to present the pages of the book to the children. It is also suggested that after counting, the children handle the work to better visualize the elements that compose it.
5. In a round of conversation, after the presentation of the video and reading of the books, try to highlight the main concepts presented. For this, ask:
6. Based on the discussion, play a rainbow with the children, in order to fix its shape and colors, as well as sharpen the children's creativity. Thus, it is suggested to build a mosaic, which can be done as follows:
7. It is also suggested to print different outlines of drawings, and let the children randomly choose. After that, guide them to color using only the colors that form the rainbow.
1. From the rereading and presentation of the concepts about the rainbow, review each one of them, so that the children can understand them. So start working with the concept of refraction. For this, in a conversation circle, sharpen the children's curiosity about this phenomenon. The following questions are suggested:
2. Based on the hypothesis raised by the children, make a very simple explanation about the refraction of light, which can be done using the following experiment:
Objective: Understand how the phenomenon of light refraction occurs;
You will see two buttons, this is because the light when crossing the water has its beam changed position. Which makes us see the things underneath it a little out of position.
3. Then introduce the children to Newton's Disc, in order to illustrate the decomposition of white light that gives rise to the rainbow. To do this, do the following experiment:
Experiment 3: Building a Newton Disc
Goals: Check if the white color is composed of all other colors
Materials:
The evaluation will be carried out throughout the entire process, and should be considered: the student's interest in the subject being worked on, their participation and involvement in the different situations proposed; group interaction and reflection, understanding of the theme, through the expression of their ideas, feelings, observations, conclusions.
Like evaluation suggestion, the following activity can also be carried out: with the concepts and discussions of the class, organize with the students a collective story in which all information about the rainbow is covered. At the end, you can turn it into a book, in which the teacher is the scribe, and the students illustrate the explanation for each one of them. This activity can be done with the help of different materials such as: glue; scissors; strips of paper; modeling clay; colored glue; glitter; sequins; EVA pieces; fabric; Hydrocolor; ink; dry twigs; flowers; Earth; gram; etc.
*Note: The assessment is in accordance with the National Curriculum Reference for Early Childhood Education, vol 3. Nature and Society, consisting of a permanent task, in which the teacher, through research and reflection on the manifestations of children: observes what they know how to do, what they think about the respect for the phenomena they observe, which is still difficult for them to understand, the interests they have, the acquisitions obtained in view of the entire process experienced and in relation to the objectives proposed. Which helps you in adapting the proposed content, in the time and pace of work, so that you can continue your planning and presentation of new content and activities, aimed at promoting meaningful situations in the child's learning, making them advance in their development and interaction with the quite.
Separate boxes of washing powder, medicine, toothpick, matchstick and plastic lids. Colored papers (color set or contact paper) were used. Through this activity, children are encouraged to perceive colors and make the relationship between large and small objects, in addition to learning the names of two geometric shapes (square and circle).
They should be encouraged to place the small boxes, as well as plastic lids, inside the larger boxes, according to color.
Through this game, children learn to read by playing, feeling more stimulated to also write, which makes learning more meaningful and much tastier. The teacher forms words in each group of caps of the same color.
Each word must be in groups of caps with different colors, as this will make it easier for the child to separate the letters by color and then form the word and paste it in the corresponding place on a sheet where they will all be they. After that, the student still paints the circle where the word is in the color corresponding to the caps.
With this game the child will not only memorize colors, but also be able to relate to the colors of their environment. Basically, is to show you different pictures you have at home, whether it's children's books or magazine clippings, and ask them to list the colors of each picture with the colors of their toys or with objects that are within your surroundings. You can ask him to identify multiple objects of the same color or change color once you have found an object that hue.
And suddenly one morning you decide to draw the day in a color? It's a really fun game: choose a color for each day and try to do all of the day's activities related to that color. For example, if you choose red, you can dress the child in a red robe, put the bed with a red leaf and prepare a tomato salad or a bunch of pasta to eat in bolognese. It's a fun and easy way to teach your kids colors while having fun together.
