Homeland week project for initial series

The celebration of the “Week of the Motherland” is essential in our schools, as it provides the teacher with the opportunity to:

• Forming the concept of homeland in the child;
• Awaken the feeling of patriotism;
• Form an attitude of respect for the symbols of Brazil.
• Develop an understanding of the historical past and the significance of the date “September Seven”.

Goals:

• Encourage love for the country;
• Recognize the flag as a symbol of the Motherland;
• Know the most important fact in the history of Brazil;
• Valuing the school as a participant in the greatness of the Homeland;

Homeland week project for school

General objectives:

• Awakening the love of your country, valuing and respecting national symbols;

Specific objectives:

• Awaken, through reflection, awareness of the duties towards school heritage, value and respect for colleagues, teachers and other employees;
• Encourage love for the country;
• Singing and interpreting the National Anthem;
• Know and locate the States, capitals and their respective acronyms working on the map of Brazil.
• Know the natural and political diversities of Brazil through Databases;
• Get to know the political, economic and social reality we live in, rediscovering citizenship and rescuing ethical and moral values.

Methodology:

• This Project will be held from September 3rd to 7th, during the Semana da Pátria, with various activities during the five days.
• On the first day, before the start of classes, the flags of Brazil, State and Municipality will be hoisted, at this time the Direction will start the week's activities.
• After the director's speech, the students will respectfully sing the Hymns of Brazil and the State.
• On the second and third days, students will develop in-class activities related to the theme HOMELAND, these can be drawings, posters, text interpretation, research in the Technology Room, among others.
• On the fourth and fifth days, students will participate in a cultural and sports competition on the school's court, where students will be separated into teams.
• There will be the participation of the external community that can be part of these teams, thus promoting student/school/community integration.

Assessment

• It will be continuously during the Week, observing the participation and commitment of everyone involved in the Project.

Homeland Week Project 4th and 5th Year

It is up to the school to develop teaching strategies to work on civic or social dates.

Goals:

• Celebrate the civic dates of our country;
• Reflect on what it means to be a patriot;
• Recover the importance of Civic Hours;
• Get to know our history better;
• Conceptualize what it means to be a citizen and what citizenship is;
• Valuing the symbols of our Homeland;
• Knowing and valuing the rights and duties of all of us, citizens.

Development:

The activities will be developed individually and collectively with teacher and student interaction.

1st day

• On the first day, students will be highlighted the concept of Homeland, and the importance of respecting the civic dates of our country. The lyrics of the Brazilian National Anthem and the anthem of the Independence of Brazil will be highlighted through posters for the students. They will look up in dictionaries the meaning of some words contained in Brazilian hymns. Afterwards, students will receive activities in the sulphite involving spelling and common and proper nouns.

2nd day

• On this day there will be poetry readings related to the highlighted theme. Afterwards, students will develop a text production on the above topic. The productions of texts will be posted on the wall of the room for the other colleagues.

3rd day

• On this day, students will develop poetry with illustrations related to the highlighted theme. After the elaboration of the poems, they will read to the other classmates. Then, they will receive a drawing to color about the Motherland.

4th day

• On this day, students will learn about some of the rights and duties of citizens through informative texts. Soon after, students will receive a research activity on “The Independence of Brazil”. They will search the library and make a presentation in the room for other colleagues.

5th day

• On this last day of the project, students will culminate in a presentation of research on the Independence of Brazil. On this day, students will develop painting activities related to the highlighted theme.

NOTE: In addition to the above activities, students will carry out reading-writing activities involving (spelling, complex syllables, simple nouns and proper, etc.) with a highlighted theme.

Another project week of the motherland

Main goal:

• Regaining the civic values ​​of our society, raising awareness of the importance of patriotism in our nation.

Specific objectives:
