the numbers of jokes

Monkey Ivo is feeling a little down. He doesn't feel like working in the lab.
– What else is there to do? I need to think of something funny to cheer me up – he tells himself.
– Jokes could work…
But jokes are more fun when they're shared with someone. Ivo has an idea. He writes five really funny jokes he knows. Next to each one he writes a number. Afterwards, he goes to the house of the hippopotamus Horacio, which is right next to Ivo's house.

“Horácio, I feel like I need to laugh a little,” he explains. – These are my favorite jokes – And he tells each one to Horacio.
– Oh, they are soooo funny! – Horacio comments excitedly.
- I'm glad you liked it! – Ivo says with a wide smile. - Now I have a favor to ask you.
From time to time, could you tap the wall between your house and mine? You can tap it once, twice, three, four or five times.
– Sure, but why? – Horacio asks. He can't imagine what Ivo is thinking about.
“Because when you do, I'll think of joke number one or joke number two, or whatever number you choose. And then I will laugh! – Ivo exclaimed pleasantly.
– Okay, I'll be happy to do that! – Horacio promises.
Later, Horacio taps the wall three times.
Then he hears Ivo laughing his ass off.
