We selected excellent in this post. Syllable Separation Activities, ready to print and apply to early graders.
Syllables are the phonological units that make up words. The syllable can be defined as the sound that, from an articulation, composes a phonic nucleus, distinguished from others through voice depressions. Tonic, in turn, is the adjective that qualifies what gives force or strength to something.
The notion of stressed syllable refers to stressed syllables. This means that the prosodic accent falls on them: the greatest phonetic intensity in the pronunciation. When the spelling rules so indicate, the stressed syllable also carries an accent. (Source: https://conceito.de/silaba).
