Celebrating International Women's Day goes beyond sending flowers. The idea is to conserve, reaffirm and promote achievements and rights. In 1857, hundreds of workers were burned to death by police officers in a textile factory in New York (USA). They demanded a reduction in working hours and the right to maternity leave.
