To be a good athlete, it takes effort and dedication, but other factors also help: there is a a suitable place to train, have the support of experts and even wear the clothes appropriate. They protect the body, facilitate movement and can help improve athletes' performance.
Each sport requires different clothes and accessories. You can fix it! Football players, for example, wear shin guards that protect their legs. In addition, their shirts are baggy and made of very light materials, capable of absorbing sweat and drying quickly.
Fabric like this is also useful for those who play sports that cause a lot of sweating, such as running. Swimmers, on the other hand, wear swim trunks or smooth and tight-fitting swimsuits, which facilitate movement in the water.
Athletes in artistic gymnastics, in turn, need elastic and flexible clothes, but very resistant - they cannot tear in contact with bars, rings and other devices during the thousand and one pirouettes and somersaults of the gymnasts.
For surfers and divers, clothing that does not absorb water is ideal. Costumes like this help to keep your body temperature neither too cold nor too hot, in addition to decreasing the discomfort that would be caused by a fabric that has been wet for a long time.
There are also sportswear that protect against solar radiation and prevent the proliferation of fungi and bacteria that could harm the athletes' health. Specialists are always looking for new fabrics to protect athletes and help them develop their events with comfort and safety. Who knows what else they'll come up with?
