Carnival is a typical festival and is expected by many. Brazil is a country rich in its culture, music, dance, a happy country that allows us to bring a wealth of diversity to the school. As carnival in Brazil is a cultural issue, we will use this date to explore the typical dances of Brazilian regions.
We will also use this date to make children aware of the dangers of drugs, such as cigarettes, alcohol and other addictions.
The evaluation will be continued taking into account the evolution, participation, attention and involvement with the theme activities;
Reception, breakfast, call with name tags, calendar and time, educational activity, lunch, oral hygiene and rest.
We will tell the story of the Carnival from the collection “Did you know?” by Maurício de Sousa, we will talk about the knowledge that children already have about the Subject, we will mark the date of the upcoming Carnival on the calendar and place the children on the masked ball that will take place on February 28th at CMEI Children will receive Carnival masks previously made by the teachers so that they can decorate them with glitter glue, sequins, decorated paper, among others. Afterwards we will listen and dance to carnival songs.
We will observe if the children will participate in the reading situations, in the making of the masks and in the listening and dancing to the songs.
