The stressed syllable is distinguished by being the strongest syllable in a word, that is, one that we pronounce with greater intensity.
It appears in different positions of the word. Depending on the position of that syllable, the word will have a classification, and this will depend on the intensity with which it is pronounced. Let's get to know the word classification rules, according to the stressed syllable position.

Emphasis rules regarding the stressed syllable: To classify a word according to the stressed syllable, we check the position of that syllable from back to front of the word. There are three possible positions: on the last syllable of the word, on the second-to-last syllable of the word, or on the second-to-last syllable.
