Check out some Circus texts, to work the Circus day, a date that is celebrated annually on the 27th of March. They are texts about Circus Day, lyrics, poems and children's poems.
The 15th of March is International Circus Day, and the 27th is the day of the Circus in Brazil, in honor of a Brazilian clown.
Currently, Circus Day is celebrated on March 27, in homage to the Brazilian clown Piolin, who was born on that date, in 1897, in the city of Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo. Considered by all who watched him as a great clown, he stood out for his enormous comic creativity and skill as a gymnast and tightrope walker. His contemporaries said that he was the father of all who, with a painted face and a high collar, knew how to make people laugh. (Know more:Circus day).

Go, go, start the game
There's charanga playing all night
Come, come, come see the real circus
It has, it has, it has an arena and quality
Run, run, my people, you have to be smart
Whoever wants to go ahead, sees better who sees up close
But in the middle of the revelry, high night, open sky
The protesting wind blows, falls on the ceiling, breaks the canvas
So that the free ride moon can also see the party
I well remember the trapeze artist, what a deadly jump was his
Swinging up there looked like a toy
But he was so scared that Zezinho do Trombone
Of renowned renown, he forgot his own name
And hugged the microphone to play his double
I write verses for the clown that in life was everything
He was a soldier, a carpenter, a serpenter and a vagabond
No judge and no judgment made everyone happy
But deep down I didn't know that in his face it colored
All the charm of the smile that your people didn't smile
With a whip and an ugly tamer face it gets stronger
Half round, round and half, half life, half death
Finishing its stop suddenly the beast vanishes
Tamer who was brave in other beasts is consumed
Your indifferent love, your life and your hunger
Speak the accordion bellows, speak the tiny flute
That the best will come now that the ballerina is emerging
That her body is a lady's, that her face is a girl's
Those who cried no longer cry, those who sang out of tune
Because the dance only ends when the night is gone
Go, go, finish the game
That the charanga played all night
The circus dies, reborn in memory
He left and I was still a child

I wanted to be a circus.
Oh, what an original life!
Work every night,
Amusing the staff.
The applause of the audience,
all that vibration,
always fresh laughter,
always more animation!
I wanted to be a circus,
know behind the scenes,
that the audience never sees,
see the tamers up close,
feed the chimpanzee,
see the dwarf's bed,
see the trained seals,
see the lion's cage,
see the clown's face,
without painting and fantasy,
and see if the bearded woman
shave every day.
There in the circus, I imagine,
barely finishes the function,
the artists will eat,
without paying a penny,
whatever popcorn you want,
as much as it pleases them,
a lot of cotton candy,
guarana and hot dogs.
Pedro Bandeira
My love blossoms in your hands
Sliding the countenances
in the most beautiful poetry
in its majestic delicacy
I feel so amazed
Completely amazed!
Made up in fragrant colors
in the shadow of your lights
At night, beautiful night!
around your smile
beheld with magic
From your love
an elevated spectacle
To paradise.
Text from the book Circus & Poetry
the rubber woman
is that it has flexibility
looks like latex
twist there, twist here
turn inside out
stretches all over
like snake, worm, earthworm
until you touch your navel to your back
then unscrews
later
scratch your head with your foot
the legs put behind the ear
and walk away with both hands
on the fingers
in the biggest
but her boyfriend left her
she says it was too convoluted.
i want to be
a trapeze artist with a look
Beyond the horizon
have every pleasure
to fly
among the stars
ride freedom
no vanities
Live life in droves.
Texts from the book Circus & Poetry
Is there clowning today?
Yes sir!
Do you have marmalade today?
Yes sir!
have joy
has energy
There is laughter and a lot of fun!
Do you have a pirouette today?
Somersault and mariola?
Yes sir!
have a lot of laughter
It has a lot of music and drums
Funny clown doing the show!
Do you have a wooden leg today?
Yes sir?
Do you have a dancer today?
Yes sir!
Just let the dance and the music take care of you
Back to childhood and in the circus of dreams
Jump and cry with laughter.
Today there is celebration!
Today there is a lot of color
Pirouettes under the circus canvas inside
Trapeze artists and jugglers making art
Magician bringing life and grace throughout.
Is there a show today?
Yes sir!
The show of joy starts in a few moments
In the circus, life becomes magic
Are you happy today?
Yes sir!
In the circus man's soul is smile and love!
Paula Belmino
I'm the Steel Wool Clown.
Everyone laughs at what I do.
I juggle,
I tell a joke,
And I splash water on the kids.
It's all a big joke...
When I step on the coconut tree,
The audience bursts out laughing.
Frances Rodrigues Pinto
under the canvas tent
Circus is set up after all
In it the artist detonates
From fantasy to real
fun and funny
It's seeing the clown on stage
Red nose, swollen
making a fuss
wear colorful clothes
Half a meter the shoes
cheeky jokes
is dear for his actions
children scream happy
roaring with laughter
From the jokes, without slipping…
in the realm of mess
the kids are agitated
applauds, screams, smiles
– Your heart just flutters
When the clown does not laugh!
