NAME:

Going with the flow

An old drunk man accidentally fell into the terrible rapids from a river leading to a high and dangerous waterfall.

No one had ever survived that river. Some people who saw the accident feared for his life, desperately trying to get the attention of the man who, drunk, was almost passed out.

But, miraculously, he managed to get out safely when the current itself dumped him on the bank in a bend that made the river.

When witnessing the

event, Confucius commented to all the people who said they did not understand how the man had managed to get out of such great difficulty without a fight:

– He if accommodated to the water, he didn't try to fight it. without thinking, without rationalize, he allowed the water to envelop him. Diving into the current, he managed to get out of the current.
