Born in South Africa, Nelson Mandela, or Mandiba as he was affectionately called, was a great leader who fought not only for his rights, but for the rights of a people, of a race. His fight was against the discrimination suffered by blacks, his desire was that everyone in society were equal in rights and duties. Mandela faced several challenges, but he never gave up.
