NAME:
A LONG TIME BEFORE MAN APPEARED ON EARTH, THE ONE WHO REIGNED ON THE PLANET WERE THE DINOSAURS.
THESE GREAT REPTILES, WHO LIVED 220 MILLION YEARS AGO, HAD RIGID AND SCALY SKIN, POWERFUL CLAWS AND LAYED EGGS TO REPRODUCE.
SOME SCIENTISTS BELIEVE THEY HAS HOT BLOOD. THAT IS, THEY DID NOT DEPEND ON THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE CLIMATE TO STAY HEATED.
DINOSAURS WALKED WITH THEIR PAWS UNDER THE BODY, LIKE MAMMALS, ON TWO OR FOUR PAWS. SOME WERE VERY SLOW, BUT OTHERS RUNNING VERY FAST. THEY ALSO FEED DIFFERENTLY: SOME LIKED PLANTS (HERBIVORES), OTHERS PREFERRED MEAT (CARNIVORES) AND A THIRD GROUP, BOTH PLANTS AND MEAT (OMNIVORES).
