NAME:

Everybody is equal

There are some people who think that some people are better than others because of their skin color. Then they mistreat those who are different from them, offend and sometimes even say that others do not have the same rights.

But it's easy to see that a person like that doesn't think straight.

Let's do a test: think of a friend of yours and then try to remember who is taller: you or him? Are you the tallest? And that's why you think you have more rights than him? Are you the smallest? But who said that minors can do more?

That's right: it makes no difference! The ups and downs have the same rights!

And in the same way, a person of another skin color is neither better nor worse. Everyone is equal and has the same rights.

The person may have different skin, different hair, eyes in a way you've never seen.

(…)

But that's no reason to think that one look is better than another. Do you know why? Because, despite being different, we are all human beings!

And human beings have the same rights.

Everyone is the same: talking about racism, by Ivan Alcântara. São Paulo: Educational Scale, 2004
