Human society is a set of people linked by the need to help each other, so that they can guarantee the continuity of life and satisfy their interests and desires.
Without life in society, people would not be able to survive, as human beings, for a long time, need others to get food and shelter. And in the modern world, with the vast majority of people living in the city, with habits that make many goods produced by the industry are needed, there is no one who does not need the others many times per day.
But the needs of human beings are not just material, such as food, clothing, housing, means of transport and healthcare. They are also spiritual and psychological. Every human person needs affection, needs to love and feel loved, always wants someone to pay attention to him and everyone respects him. Furthermore, every human being has his beliefs, he has his faith in something, which is the basis of his hopes.
Human beings do not live together, they do not live in society, just because they choose this way of life, but because living in society is a necessity of human nature. So, for example, if it were only up to the will, it would be possible for a very rich person to isolate himself somewhere where he had stored a large amount of food. But that person would soon be missing company, suffering the sadness of loneliness, needing someone to talk to and exchange ideas with, needing to give and receive affection. And she would most likely go crazy if she continued alone for too long.
But, precisely because living in society is that the human person can satisfy their needs, it is necessary that society be organized in such a way that it really serves this purpose. And it is not enough that social life only allows for the satisfaction of some needs of the human person or all the needs of just a few people. A society organized with justice is one that seeks to ensure that all people can satisfy all their needs. in which everyone, from the moment they are born, has the same opportunities, one in which the benefits and burdens are shared equally between all.
For this division to be done with justice, it is necessary that everyone seeks to know their rights and demand that they are respected, as well as knowing and fulfilling their duties and responsibilities social.
