How I like to see a band contest! The musicians are well rehearsed and take great care not to miss any note. But, to play like this, they need a conductor, or rather, a bandmaster, who is the person who organizes the musicians, selects the musical repertoire and takes care of every detail so that everything comes out the way that must be. In the past, many schools had bands, rehearsed and performed in parades and contests. Nowadays, it is rarer to find schools that keep a band of students, but it is still possible to find some competitions and presentations. These days, for example, I watched the performance of the band of firefighters from my city. They played such beautiful songs that I even wanted to be a bandmaster.
