Inundation

- Help! Help! Emergency! – yells the monkey Ivo and runs to Senhor Cavalo's house.
– What's the problem, Ivo? – Mr. Horse shouts from the kitchen.
– There is a flood in the street! – yells Ivo. – I think the fire hydrant broke!
– I'll be right there! – shouts Mr. Horse. – Just let me get my toolbox, and I'll be right there.
They run to the center of the village. In fact, a fire hydrant is gushing water.
– Wow, what a mess! – exclaims Mr. Horse.

He runs to the fire station and blows a loud siren.
Oooooo! Oooooo!
Residents come running from everywhere.
They are all volunteer firefighters.
– Where's the fire? Where's the fire? – They scream.
– Isn't it a fire? And water! – Mr. Horse answers loudly. – I think some pipe broke! He turns off the siren.
– We have to turn off the water! – someone shouts.
Mr. Horse goes through his toolbox and comes up with a big, heavy wrench.
– Uhh! - He moans, turning the hydrant's clasp.
– Good work, Mr. Horse! - Yells Ivo when the water is decreasing until a small current remains.
“We'll need to really fix it in the morning, but that will be enough for today. What a mess! – Mr. Horse sighs. There is water everywhere.
