Everyone knows that some foods cause bad breath, such as garlic, onions, peppers, radishes, pickles, cabbage, kale, broccoli, as well as fatty foods such as yellow cheese.
However, nutritionist Cristiane Almeida warns about two attitudes that are directly related to halitosis: drink less than a liter of water a day (low water intake) and go more than three hours without eating (fasting extended).
For her it is important to have a healthy diet, eat small meals every three hours and drink plenty of water. Fibrous, raw foods such as apples, pears and cucumbers encourage chewing and can help clean teeth.
