Luca is the name of the protagonist of this film, a shy boy who is learning to enjoy life. He ends up making a great friendship with Alberto, which will help him be more courageous. Together, they dream of spending a summer full of games, joy, ice cream and pasta in Italy. Especially when they meet the lively Giulia, a brave and loyal girl.
However, there is a secret: Luca and Alberto are actually sea monsters who manage to assume human form while on Earth. But any contact with water reveals its natural condition. And the duo can't tell anyone that, as they live surrounded by paintings and statues of heroes known to have defeated ocean monsters. Not to mention that Giulia's father considers himself a natural hunter… In other words, the confusion is guaranteed!
