As the name implies, the Sardinian Whale a-do-ra sardines. But its menu also includes other fish and small crustaceans, similar to shrimp. Like other large whales, it has mouth bristles for teeth.
These bristles are made of keratin, the same material that coats our skin and forms our hair and nails. Each side of the mouth has hundreds of rows of bristle plates that act as a large strainer, filtering the incoming food along with the seawater.
In a single day, an adult Sardinian Whale can eat up to two tons of fish and shellfish. Also, to keep the __________ corpse, have an appetite!
