Phoebe is rejected by colleagues and mixes reality with dream
Phoebe (Elle Fanning) is a girl rejected by her classmates. She dreams of participating in the play “Alice in Wonderland”, which will be performed at her school.
Phoebe confuses reality with dream, and her behavior worsens every day, worrying her parents, Hillary (Felicity Huffman) and Peter (Bill Pullman). They try to help their daughter, but Phoebe prefers to hide in her fantasies. Now, however, she will have to face a hard, painful and exciting process of self-discovery and personal transformation.
