It is not only the beauty of the appearance of comets that ____________ attention to these celestial bodies. There are important reasons to study them in depth. One of them is related to the enormous importance that comets had for the development of our planet: it is believed that much of the water on the planet and a lot of organic material came from the collision of these celestial bodies with the Earth primitive.
Whether this information is, in fact, true remains to be seen. But some scientists already know, for example, that many molecules important for life are present in comets. They may have been, yes, the main source for the existence of life on Earth.
