NAME:
Dino Dino is in trouble. His room is a mess. Dirty clothes are strewn all over the floor, with toys and books piled high.
Mom comes in and looks at the mess in silence. Then she takes a deep breath and says:
- This is not right.
Now, after breakfast, he's sitting up in bed, looking at the jumble of things.
– All right, it's true. I really don't like this mess. But I also don't like to tidy up – regrets.
Dad appears with his head in the doorway and gives a startled whistle.
- Our! How can you stay in the middle of this, Dino? How do you find your stuff?
Dino shrugs.
– I keep rummaging around until I find what I want. I just don't like cleaning.” He whimpers.
“I have an idea,” Dad says. – I'll mark five minutes on my watch. You start tidying up as fast as you can, until I say “stop”. Let's see how much you can do in that time, okay? – Dad asks with a smile. – Here it goes: one, two, three… Now!
Dino runs across the room, stuffing the dirty clothes into the hamper, putting the books on the shelves, throwing the toys into the trunk. It ended before the alarm on Dad's watch went off.
– Wow! You got it! exclaims Dad, taking Dino's feet off the ground with a big hug.
– It wasn't that bad! - Dino says with a wide smile.
