Ingredients for guava jam

• 400 g of ripe guava (red, to get a nice color);
• 500 ml of filtered water;
• 1 cup of sugar tea;
• 1 cinnamon stick.

Method of preparation

1. First, clean the fruit well under running water and remove (or not) the skin and seeds;
2. Then slice the guava into four similar parts and separate into a bowl to use them later;
3. Place water in a medium saucepan, along with sugar and cinnamon;
4. Then take this mixture to the fire, not too high, until the sugar melts and at the same time the water is boiling;
5. After boiling, add the cut pieces of guava and cook for approximately 30 minutes.
6. Finally, after cooking over low heat, reserve the candy in a glass container with a lid and store it in the refrigerator.
