With that she is now in modern-day Manhattan, a place completely different from where she used to live. Soon she is helped by Robert (Patrick Dempsey), a divorced lawyer with whom she falls in love. But Giselle is already betrothed to Prince Edward (James Marsden), who also decides to leave the magical world to find his beloved.
