Using plants to treat illnesses, including anxiety, is an ancient practice – more so than the teas grandparents love to suggest to cure anything. And, with the evolution of studies on the subject, new concepts about this therapy emerged, as explained by Patrícia Cândido, one of the developers of Fitoenergética, a natural healing system by through the energy of plants: "they have an energetic character capable of replacing the energy we lose in moments of tension, stress and anxiety, maintaining our balance in a good way. general".
Patrícia believes that the benefit of herbal medicine covers the treatment of four types of anxiety: physical (excess physical energy), emotional (accumulation of harmful emotions), spiritual (lack of integration between the physical and spiritual "I") and mental (excessive concentration of ideas in the mind).
To combat these types of anxiety, as the specialist suggests, "the most suitable plants in the case of anxiety are chamomile, mackerel, marcela, valerian, boldo de Chile and rue". Recalling that the infusion in hot water is not the only means of consumption, Patrícia also suggests the absorption of the properties through baths, incense, compresses, essences and sprays.
