Four hundred years ago, when Miguel de Cervantes created Don Quixote de La Mancha, it certainly didn't could imagine that both he and his character would go through centuries delighting readers and more. readers. The story introduces us to a naive rural gentleman who loved to read books of chivalry and truly believed in written adventures. So, he decides to become a knight errant and starts to live as if he were in the Middle Ages. For him, armed knights, damsels in distress, giants, monsters and windmills – fruits of his imagination – were living beings. This classic by the Spanish writer, with excellent adaptation by Agustín Sánchez Aguilar and translation by Marina Colasanti – Era uma Vez Don Quixote –, allows the young reader traveling through the world of fantasy with the adventurous knight, his faithful squire Sancho Panza, his horse Rocinante and his beloved, the princess Dulcinea.
