Robot

Most of the words we use in the field of technology come from the English language. Many of them are not even translated, for example, Mouse or site. More nationalist countries, such as Spain and France, use words from their own language for these terms. In Spain, for example, the Mouse é ratón, and site é place. Because of this, many people believe that the word robot comes from English

robot. However, the first time the word appeared with the definition we know today was in the Czech language. It was Karel Kapek, in 1920, who used the expression robots, which means hard work.
