A real sandwich factory

The little friends will make their own sandwiches. Mommy hippopotamus got all kinds of ingredients for snacks.
“We have cheese, cold cuts, peanut butter, lettuce, and many kinds of bread,” she says.
– Hmm… I'm starving! – exclaims the hippopotamus Horace.
– Then help yourself! - Mom smiles.
– I'll make the tallest sandwich you've ever seen! – says Horacio.

– I'll make the thinnest and longest sandwich you've ever seen! – says Silvia, the snake.
Horacio starts by piling things on top of the bread and, in a short time, builds a tower.
Silvia takes a long, narrow piece of bread and places the things on top of it in a thin layer.
– Horacio, can you eat all this? – Silvia asks.
- It is clear! – Horacio answers and starts eating.
- Delicious! – he exclaims, chewing.
A short time later, he is satisfied, and half his sandwich is still missing.
– Oh, my stomach hurts! – he complains.
- Next time, make it half the size - Silvia says smiling.
- Great idea. I wish I had thought of this before.
Mommy hippopotamus smiles and wraps up the rest of the sandwich for tomorrow's snack.
