Time travel

Monkey Ivo read a book about time travel. The traveler went back and forth in time. Ivo wanted to do that too.
“First, I need to build a box,” he says.
With a hacksaw and hammer, he builds a large box with a small window.
“Now, I need a latch to keep the door closed.” Ivo takes the latch and key to his bike.
'All I have to do is go inside, lock the door and say some magic words,' he whispers.
He did this by tossing the key through the window.

– I want to visit the future! – He announces.
– Future-safe, mega-zim-zam! – Ivo proclaims.
He closes his eyes and waits for the magic to happen. But nothing happens.
– Hmm… Maybe I said something wrong… – he suspects.
– Future-futuris-futuristic! – exclaims Ivo.
Nothing happens.
“Maybe I should read that book again,” he says.
Ivo tries to open the door. It's locked.
- Oh no! – he moans – I'm stuck here forever! That's my future! Help!
Ivo punches the box and screams as loud as he can.
- What is that noise? – asks the hippopotamus Horácio, who lives next door. He runs to Ivo's lab.
– Ivo, is that you? – Horacio asks.
– Yes, I'm stuck here! – yells Ivo – The key is on the floor, outside! Horacio takes the key and unlocks Ivo.
– I wanted to see the future, but I'm stuck in the present! – Ivo says sadly.
– Cheer up, Ivo. At least you're not in the box anymore – laughs Horacio.
And Ivo smiles.
