The bark of the tree is a set of layers of cells that wrap around the inner part of the plant in a way. similar to the skin of animals and in the same way that the skin protects our body, the bark protects the inside of the plant. This protection is necessary, because the vessels in charge of transporting the sap that flows inside the plant are located inside the tree.
The best known bark is the one that covers the stems, but in fact, it exists from the roots to the branches and fruits.
