Dostoevsky

Fyodor Dostoevsky (1821-1881) was a restless boy, a teenager who read from Shakespeare to the historical novels by Walter Scott and whose dream was to be a writer, but for his father's desire he studied engineering.

Living with epilepsy, gambling, combative work as a journalist, the evolution from the first literary adventures to the publication of his great books, such as 

Crime and Punishment and The brothers Karamazov, and finally the marriage to Anna Grigoryevna, the woman who saved his life – everything is richly portrayed. But nothing compares to the ___ episode that ended up in prison at the age of 28 and sentenced to death for his political engagement. Before the firing squad, he had his sentence commuted to forced labor in Siberia.
